Cyber-bullying is the use of cell phones, instant messaging, e-mail, chat rooms or social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to harass, threaten or intimidate someone. It is mostly common when females are bullying others of the same gender but it is also common among males. It can go through texts, e-mails, social networks, and other contact capabilities. Many teenagers receive death threats that tell them they are worthless and that if they don't do this then they will get hurt, or worst killed. These are known to be the most effective on teenagers.Cyber bullying mostly comes from frustration, payback, jealousy, or just because the bully felt like hurting someone. Cyber bullying can lead to other categories of bullying like mental abuse, physical abuse, and emotional abuse. Remember that the reader isn't the only person who can look at it. As long as it is on the computer, phones, or any other electronically device, it can be seen from anyone. Although on of the problems is the fact that a bully can hide behind an electronic veil, disguising his or her true identity. This secrecy makes it
difficult for someone to find the culprit and gives them the power to be more aggressive
